After studying fine arts at Akademie der Bildenden Künste München
and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf the German born Alex Rank became
master student at Prof. AR Penck.
He assisted for almost 10 years for several photographers.
In 1999 Alex and Faruk Heplevent founded F.A. Cesar. The team
collaborated to combine their complementing strength and views
on imagery and production.
Cars being one of the most interesting and influential design products
surrounding us today have always inspired Alex.
Alex has set out to create cutting edge images in car photography
for clients like BMW, VW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Opel, Citroën,
Renault, Lancia, Saab, Alfa Romeo, Kia and Mitsubishi.
The images and campaigns have been awarded internationally
from Cannes to New York on various occasions.
Alex is ADC and D&AD member.
